Mr. McCoy practices in a broad range of corporate matters in both litigation and transactions. He has handled lawsuits concerning agency orders, bankruptcy, commercial leases, insurance defense, and more. Mr. McCoy has also taken the lead role in drafting, negotiating, and due diligence in several small business acquisitions, including private equity purchases. He also has experience advising his corporate clients in a diverse range of topics including employment law, intellectual property management, FAA compliance, insurance claims, and other general corporate matters.
Mr. McCoy began his career as a corporate litigator at Conner and Winters, LLP. He then served as Chief Counsel for two national companies headquarted in Norman, OK: Harrison Gypsum, LLC and The Cemplex Group. As Chief Counsel, he helped transition Harrison Gypsum from a family-owned business through a private equity sale and instituted several best practices as both companies grew. These practices included a streamlined contract review process and an accounts receivable process that decreased receipts by an average of thirty days
Mr. McCoy graduated with the Order of the Coif distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2011. He received his BBA from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2008. He is licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
